4 Quick Apply Full-time 1 day ago Full Job Description The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to the respective department(s) Director and management staff of its subdivisions.
Success in this position contributes to efficiency and effectiveness of department operations.
Essential duties include:
Greets visitors; provides information and assistance; takes messages; answers telephone and email correspondence; refers to appropriate personnel; generally the first point of contact.
Receives customer complaints and inquiries; resolves or forwards to appropriate personnel.
Prepares correspondence, memoranda, forms, related invoices, purchase or work orders, reports, and check requisitions as needed.
Prepares agenda and supporting documents for departmental and other requested meetings.
Receives or retrieves, sorts and distributes incoming and outgoing mail and shipments.
Organizes and files all departmental correspondence, financial documents, and other departmental significant forms.
Orders office and operating supplies and maintains inventory for the department.
Ensures copier, fax and other related office equipment are in working order and fully stocked each day.
Maintains cemetery records, including burial plot records and bill-of-sale documentation.
Coordinates request from funeral homes and families to arrange interments.
Sells burial plots.
Maintains billing and payment record for the general public and funeral homes.
Assists the public with genealogical research.
Maintains vehicle maintenance records.
Participates in on-call rotation.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
