Forklift and Standup Reach Driver
Peachtree City, GA (2nd shift) and Griffin, GA (1st shift)
JOB SUMMARY
To ensure an orderly flow of parts, raw material and finished products between departments and/or customers to include:
Pricing/pulling orders
Process/pack orders for transport
Load/unloading trucks
Required record keeping
Communication w/ department supervisor and others
Assist in Training of new employees
Stocking and Inventory counts
Identify work and develop plan for completion and execute plan without supervision
QUALIFACTION
Work between hours of 6 AM and 3:30 PM, M-F (1st shift) or between 2 PM and 10 PM (2nd shift) M-F (Saturdays as needed).
Current Forklift/ Standup Reach Truck Certification required
Experience working as material handler in a computerized warehouse
Experience working with bar code scanner
Proficient in MS Office
Good reading, comprehension, math skills and positive attitude
Observe all safety requirements
High School diploma or GED
Must wear steel toe boots and safety glasses
Valid driver's license
How to identify difficult parts/models
How to operate Material Handling Equipment, hand tools and other equipment necessary
How to read/understand associate order/shipment paperwork
Hazmat Certification
Learn and understand client's ISO and Quality Systems
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is a temporary assignment with potential for permanent placement after 520 hours. Pay range of $10.50 to $13.00 per hour based on experience with an attractive benefits package including Flight Privileges. Second shift (2nd) comes with differential pay.
